Urgent opening for VP - Finance&Business Management/Financial planning & Analysis- Investment Bank client

Location : Mumbai

As a VP in Commercial Banking F&BM, you will lead a team that supports Management Reporting, Analytics, Costing, Business Management, Planning and Forecasting. You will also be required to respond to adhoc business queries and analysis. Key responsibilities will include

- Manage production of key month-end reports like EMR packs, Performance reports etc. for senior management

- Analyzing operating results and key cost/revenue drivers (Revenues/Expenses/Capital & Across LOBs)

- Supporting monthly, quarterly and yearly forecast process

- Support key business initiatives for various lines of businesses and products that contribute to future growth

- Supporting ad hoc requests for expense/revenue analysis and reviews like QBR- s, OC reviews etc.

- Represent F&BM function with business across sales and products function

- Partner and Collaborate with product Business Managers, Controllers and Other Finance Teams when working on various BAU and adhoc deliverables

- Assist with day-to-day oversight of the finance team member across deliverables by acting as a partner while providing guidance and support

- Proactively develop the team and allocate/match resources to get the best results

- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives like sound planning & forecasting of revenues & expenses

- Ensure controls agenda is met by providing support and oversight during month-end (including flows, book of business, expense, scorecards etc)

- Experienced people manager adapt at working in matrix organization and managing dynamic high performance teams

- Commercially aware, proactive self-starter, results driven and solution oriented.

- Proven track record of designing and providing value add decision support and business performance analysis (e.g., driver and activity based analysis, profitability studies, business case reviews, zero based budgeting, modeling and forecasting etc).

- Analytical mindset, structured approach with project management/process orientation.

- Hands on multi-tasker, self directed, capable of working independently and as part of the team.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills

- Advanced MS Excel (data manipulation, macros, v-lookups, pivot tables and Advanced Excel applications) / MS Access/ MS PowerPoint skill sets

- Ability to handle large data sets, manipulate the same and provide meaningful information in a quick turnaround time

- Knowledge of Cognos BI Tool, Data Visualization tools like Qlikview/Tableau will be an added advantage
