Responsibilities
- Direct and lead financial planning and budget management functions.
- Drive the formulation of short-term and medium-term business plan for the management.
- Ensure fiscal discipline and operational efficiency by developing and implementing appropriate processes and systems in accordance with statutory requirements, corporate policies and procedures.
- Monitor budget spending, department-wise on a regular basis.
- Responsible for collection of receivables from retailers in case of any significant delay.
- Develop and leverage financial relationships with banks, NBFCs, legislative and statutory bodies, compliance departments.
- Leading and coordinating effective MIS, Balance sheet Business plans, Budgets.
- Financial planning & forecasting, cost controls, and Internal Audit.
- Monitoring & coordinating Audits.
- P/L into relevant profit and cost centers, restructure balance sheet and set up a strong financial review mechanism.
- Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions.
- Budgeting & Risk Management Allocation of Funds (Capex planning, working capital management, and debt management), Annual Budgeting and Variance Analysis
- Responsible for facilities and asset management of the organization. Developing the operating budget.
- Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the strategic plan.
- Lead and coordinate an integrated financial planning process which includes inputs from sales, products and operational expense units.
Experience
- Upto 8 years of experience in a finance role into budgetary planning and expense management
- Proven experience in working across different functions in the organization to lead financial planning
- Relevant educational background into a finance related field
- Experience working with one or more start ups is a big plus
