Vice President - ESG
Must Have Skills - ESG Consulting, Client Servicing, Business Development, ESG Research Solutioning
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for overall performance of the ESG business starting with client acquisition, onboarding, transition, client servicing and ensuring client delight
- Reviewing and enhancing the existing ESG business strategy, service offerings, processes and frameworks
- Managing and overseeing ESG client services operations. Provide leadership to senior managers, managers and leads across multiple ESG functions
- Identifying new opportunities and initiatives for growing the business, to aid the management and create further value at the company level
- Supporting teams to advance their sustainability knowledge and skills, through coaching and sharing of best practices
- Drive ESG business development, solutioning and delivery teams to achieve their full potential and enable extraordinary performance and operational excellence
- Understanding customer requirements and develop effective project management processes, including hiring, planning, reporting, documentation, training, etc.
- Ensure 100% adherence to all SLAs and TAT
External Skills and Expertise :
- Experience of ESG strategy development and implementation, with experience gained in either the ESG/sustainability consulting sector, or at a corporate, operating in a range of industry sectors
- Experience of working in a client services environment with strict SLAs and of managing business end-to-end
- Strong knowledge of the various international reporting standards (UNGC / SDG, GRI, SASB / TCFD, CDP, UNPRI) and of the tier 1 ESG rating methodologies
- Experienced in offering ESG research solutions to global clients
- Comes from strong educational pedigree that demonstrates high IQ
- Dynamic, persuasive personality and communication skills to win over prospects/delight clients
- Hungry to drive top line revenue aggressively and embrace a fast-paced environment
- Motivation to work collaboratively in a large team of specialized professionals and fresher talent pool
- Strong analytical skills, and the ability to use data to highlight trends and communicate important messages in an engaging manner
- Strong written and oral communication skills
