Vice President - Enterprise Application Architect - Bank

Our client, a Leading Private Bank is urgently looking out for a Vice President - Enterprise Application Architect to be based at Mumbai.

Job Purpose:

This role within Enterprise Architecture team will provide the business with technical solutions architecture design across the IT stack with the bank. This role will engage with different stakeholders for solution/applications architecture, deployment (on-prem, cloud), application modernization, adoption of open source, devsecops etc.

Experience:

- B.E / B.Tech / MCA with 15 - 20 Years of experience.

Technical Skills & processes :

- Software development mythologies & frameworks, Open Source technologies, Relational and Non-relations Databases, Cloud technologies, micro service architecture, Security standards

- Understanding of Concepts and tools like Data Lakes, Big Data analytics, Cloud Native Architecture, Serverless, Deployment mythologies, DevSecOps, Data Science, UML, draw.io, ArchiMate, Confluence etc.

- Understand the scalability, resiliency, extensibility, deployment, performance, fault tolerance, basic networking etc.

- Should have experience or certification of any of public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)

- Strong grasp of SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, Microservices, Containerization, Kubernetes, API, REST, GraphQL, Spring framework etc

- Deep understanding of Messaging & middleware including MQ, Kafka, Event driven architecture

- Strong knowledge in SQL, Databases (Oracle, Mongo, Yugabyte, Postgres etc.), ETL/ELT

Job Responsibilities:

- Able to articulate and translate the business, information, application, technology architecture for enterprise into opportunity document.

- Responsible for architectural design and documentation

- Responsible for modeling DFD, ERD, Application/technology architecture, Integration architecture, network diagrams etc

- Build and maintain standard patterns for key technologies including microservices, API, containerization, Middleware, Database, DevSecOps etc.

- Responsible for the architecture integrity and maintaining the vision from enterprise architectural perspective.

- Role requires to co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders (e.g. solution, network, security etc) for applications, understand the architecture, area of concerns and translate into architecture artifact.

- Assist in developing & documenting methods, techniques, best practices etc. for given business/application architecture.
