We are looking for "VP Engineering" for our client who is one of the market leading securities firms in India serving over 10 lakh clients across both Offline and Online platforms. Through its extensive footprint extending to over 400 cities, the company offers broking services in Equity, Currency and Commodity, as well as depository participant services. It is a member of the NSE, BSE, and MSEI and a depository participant with NSDL and CDSL and offers TIN facilitation & PAN facility at select branches - a unique service to help an individual with PAN, TAN and TDS/TCS returns related requirements. Our client has a presence in NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.

Designation/ Grade : VP - Engineering

Reporting to (Hiring Manager) : CTO

Span of Control (# of Direct/Indirect reportees) : 5/11 (minimum)

Place of posting (Location) : Noida / Mumbai

Key Responsibilities (Functional) :

1. Planning and managing the successful conceptualization, design, development, delivery and ongoing live operations of the web & mobile platforms.

2. Experience in technical architecture, frameworks & solution design, debugging code/ fixing bugs, understanding the code, provide feedback and improvements, do code reviews.

3. Deep Understanding of new technologies (such as Java, Spring, .Net, AngularJs, NodeJs, and noSQL databases like MongoDb and indexing solutions like ElasticSearch. Bootstrap, AngularMaterial, ExpressJS, IONIC knowledge preferred.

4. Advanced knowledge of Agile Scrum.

5. Translate business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical & business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal sol

6. Responsible for all the technical aspects of the Consumer facing applications.

7. Complete life cycle of a project: Project Planning, Project Implementation, Project Analysis, Project Co-ordination, Project Evaluation Delivery.

8. Coordinate between the business and project team to create and execute project timelines, focusing on the prioritization of additional features and quality improvement

9. Monitoring development activities and reporting project progress, Change request.

10. Proactive communication regarding project status, issues risks to management

Key Performance Indicator :

1. Experience of managing web platforms (AngularJS, NodeJS, ASP.NET) and mobile platforms (Android, IOS, etc.).

2. Must have experience of solution architecture, designing, and implementation of complex applications (Web/Mobile based).

3. Deep hands-on technical expertise in mobile and web-technologies, latest trends.

4. Should have strong experience of estimation techniques, technical documentation, development, and quality frameworks.

5. Ability to handle aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple responsibilities.

6. Strong in DevOps, Cloud (AWS, Azure) and Test Automation frameworks (Selenium, Postman/ Restassured, Appium, Jmeter, ZAP)

Education Qualification : BE/ MCA

Experience : 10-15 years of technical expertise in Web/Mobile technology in B2C space, with min 4-5 years of project management experience
