We are looking for a VP-Engineering who has a passion for software solutions that leverage the latest technologies to deliver secure, reliable, resilient, and scalable solutions Passion Problem solver Collaborative Analytical Thinking Adaptability Result Orientation Creative Solution Mindset EXPERIENCES REQUIRED - Expertise in product roadmap visualization and execution. - An engineering graduate from a Tier 1 engineering college, along with 8-12 years of relevant coding experience with product based companies and 2-4 years of work experience in managing engineering teams and project delivery. - Strong hands-on experience in at least one object-oriented language (C++/Java) and one dynamic scripting language (e.g. Ruby, Python, PHP) is a must. - Sound understanding of web technologies (e.g. Javascript, HTML5, CSS) and strong command over databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis). - Knowledge of MVC frameworks like Rails, Django, Symphony, Yii is desired. - Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure environments with limited information - To lead, manage, mentor, and build game-changing solutions for our customers - To architect and design solutions that are strategic for customers and build on the latest technologies and pattern - Utilizing in-depth knowledge of infrastructure, open source technologies, and software engineering, you will develop the strategy, achieve business and engineering buy-in, and monitor execution towards the target architecture - Mentor and guide team of 4-7 top notch full stack engineers across various levels. - Responsible for the product engineering roadmap, quality assurance and stability of the products. - Collaborate with Product Managers and Business teams to develop a long-term product roadmap and own the release planning cycles. - Developing and managing skills escalation and career trajectory path for the engineers in the team. Performing regular performance evaluation and share and seek feedback. - Perform well in uncertainties and collaborate and work with unclear interfaces to other teams in our fast-paced environment. - Responsible for hiring and skills management within the team.
