Vice President - Engineering - EdTech Startup

Position : Senior Tech Leader (VP Role) - Backend

Location : Mumbai (Currently WFH)

Working Days : 5

Experience : 8 - 12 years

Qualifications :

- T shaped leader with a broad grasp of all things tech & a deeper hands on expertise in a specific domain.

- Preferred area of expertise : Back end, AI/ML, Cloud, Video streaming etc.

- Strong leadership & interpersonal capabilities. Track record of building engineering teams.

- Past experience as CTO or equivalent senior technology leadership role at a venture backed startup, preferably in direct to consumer space.

Education : B.Tech/B.E degree is a must, Tier 1 pedigree is preferred

Scope :

- Immediate focus on building scalable backend services including video streaming, content recommendation service, content management service, AWS set up.

- Mentoring & supporting the existing android consumer app team.

- Eventually responsible for most technical aspects of the product.
