Vice President - Engineering - Agritech Startup

Responsibilities:

- Opportunity to lead and build technology for a highly successful well-funded start-up in the Agri space

- Work closely with founders and drive the product strategy & execution

- Manage a cross-functional team, consisting of Backend Engineers, Frontend Engineers, QA,

- Product Managers, Product Designer, Technical Project managers, Data Scientist etc

- Recruit and build world-class teams; develop and grow leaders by pushing the boundaries of engineering excellence and execution

- Ensure the quality and integrity of all projects, including the adherence to standards, technical requirements, and best practices

- Plan and track the development schedules; proactively assess and mitigate risks; prepare for contingencies, and build agile systems.

Requirements:

- B.E/B.Tech/MS (preferred) in Computer Science from a top tier institute

- 10-12 years of relevant technology experience of creating products from scratch and developing robust, high-performance, and intelligent systems

- Experience of leading scalable technology teams at Series B to E funded start-ups

- Are an inspiring leader who can motivate & lead a large team of developers, build a culture of trust, and drive teams to achieve audacious goals

- Significant experience and understanding of marketplace/payments/SME space

- Are obsessed with the customer experience and uncompromising engineering standards

- Writes code irrespective of their seniority and deeply values coding as a craft.
