We- re looking for a Vice President (VP) of Engineering with experience managing agile development teams.
Our VP of Engineering will be responsible for ensuring that products meet design requirements, and deliver a consistent experience for users.
Initiatives range from internal scaling, security, engagement, new verticals, pervasive technologies, research and development, data and analytics, and customer tools
Role :
- Ensure scalability of the product by building and delivering a high-quality platform/software
- Manage an entire team of engineers and developers and collaborate with product managers
- Maintain high service availability and reliability
- Maintain and optimize budgets to meet organizational goals.
- Build, develop and manage engineering team capable of carrying out initiatives.
Expertise :
- A Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Engineering from Tier 1 Institute
- 18 to 20 years of experience with product/SaaS organizations.
- Must have experience of working in an American subsidiary in India and cross-functional/ culture set-up
- Must have the experience of scaling the organization from $20 million to $80 million
- Experience of working in a start-up environment
- Previous experience in software design and developing customer-orientated platforms
- Strong organizational leadership skills
- Hands-on technical knowledge
- Managed a software engineering organization and built teams.
- Must be knowledgeable about industry trends, best practices and change management
To be successful as a VP of Engineering, you should have prior organizational leadership experience, be able to collaborate with team members, and be a strategic problem-solver. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and have the ability to connect with engineers and developers and have a solid foundation in software design.
