Our client, an Investment Banking Advisory with a focus on debt restructuring and special situation, is looking for a VP or Director level candidate who would work with the Managing Director and Principal that are leading multiple projects in the domain of debt restructuring and fundraising exercises. The Consultant is expected to effectively lead the full execution component of the mandate -restructuring of the group and fund infusion while managing the mandate deliverables and stakeholders. Skills required for the role are as follows : Years of Experience :&nbsp; - 7-10 for a VP - 10+ for a Director Domain experience : Infrastructure, Power, Steel, EPC but open to many Key Skill : - Special Situations in India [MANDATORY REQUIREMENT] Optional : Structured Credit, Debt restructuring Quantitative Skills : Structured Credit and Finance Knowledge :&nbsp; - Strong structured credit mindset is preferred option which has combination of debt and equity both.&nbsp; - Should know debt funding, project finance &amp; appraisal, business plan preparation and financial modelling, and business valuation. Also distress debt, project finance, syndication background. Qualitative Assessment Criteria : Relationship Management : manage existing relations (both corporate, lenders and fund houses). Experience in dealing with special situation asset class namely corporate facing financial mismatch but has potential to turnaround and grow (not merely growth capital or vanilla debt syndication or growth private equity) Team Management : Should be able to give clear direction, appropriate delegation based on strengths of the junior team and mentor them from time to time Stakeholder Management : Should be able to manage all stakeholders with clear communication and timelines. Should be able to negotiate deliverables and close conversations Time Management : To be able to understand criticality of mandate deliverables and accordingly plan tasks around it Communication : Effective verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to prepare complex documents or arguments that are to the point
