Vice President - Digital Analytics - BFS

The Project Lead role is an Individual Contributor (IC) role that would be responsible for end-to-end delivery and smooth functioning of global projects and Daily net growth across three regions APAC/EMEA, NAM and Mexico.

Key responsibilities for this role :

Program Management :

- Prioritize development and automation of KPI tracking across regions, countries, and lines of business

- Establish project initiative timelines and milestones and monitor project progress accordingly

- Prioritize global and regional IT and business resources to meet all project timelines and milestones

- Establish and socialize all project requirements including definitions, assumptions etc. to ensure data standards are met and all KPIs are globally consistent.

- Ensure data standards, metric consistency & data accuracy is established and maintained across markets and lines of business

- Ensures proper communication to all team members of schedule dates, changes in project requirements, resourcing, risks, issues and budgetary items

- Create and influence a network of relationships among global and regional peers, internal partners, external constituencies, decision makers and stakeholders to define and drive project initiatives

- Leads or participates in developing executive presentation materials for project overview and updates

- Participates in the annual project planning and budgeting processes

- Ensures proper communication to all senior sponsors, regional partners, project status, timelines, milestones, requirements, resourcing, risks, issues and budgetary items

Bangalore Team Engagement :

- Partner with team to ensure they understand their role and deliverables

- Coach and guide them on communication & approach

- Optimize their engagement across deliverables

Solution Delivery :

- Negotiate requirement priority and deliverables timeline

- Identify data gap and collaborate with owners for resolution

- Anticipate risk and develop risk mitigation

- Identify issues and assign resolution owner

- Coordinate Metrics validation and sign-off for all regions

- Prioritize Bangalore team deliverables and monitor progress

- Coordinate Metrics/report mapping development across all regions

- Communicate status with stakeholders

- Collaborate Data Quality Processes

- Define Data restatement guidelines

- Follow-up production issue status, root cause analysis, and future mitigation.

Project Management and interpersonal skills :

- Strong Project Management skills with continuous effort to identify and overcome bottleneck.

- Willingness to work on multiple time zones APAC, NAM and Mexico.

- Ability to identify, clearly articulate and solve complex business problems and present them to the management in a structured and simpler form

- Ability to build connections, promote ideas and work collaboratively across all levels of seniority and across boundaries

- Well organized with excellent time management skills

- Self-motivated, focused, detailed oriented and able to work efficiently to deadlines are essential

- Presentations to both technical and non-technical personnel including the Senior Management

Domain Skills :

- Good understanding of banking domain and consumer products (Cards, Deposit, Loans, Wealth management, Insurance, etc.)

- Knowledge on digital banking, payment productions such as digital wallet, etc.

Analytical Skills :

- Thorough understanding of project and systems development lifecycle are essential

- Past experience in leading an end-to-end technology project is preferred

- Ability to articulate business problem statement into technical requirements

- Data analysis, Data profiling & Data Management skills

- Experience with designing and architecting downstream reporting application

- MIS reporting and generate actionable Business Insights

- Experience with ETL tools preferable

Tools and Platforms :

1. Proficient in advanced SAS, SQL, Teradata, BI Tools like Tableau etc.

2. Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint

3. Strong understanding of current trends and working knowledge in Big data Hadoop environment

Educational and Experience :

- Master degree in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Applications / Engineering from a premier institute. BTech/B.E/MCA in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Applications

(Preferred) Post Graduate in - Masters in computers

- 12 - 15 years of hands on experience in delivering reporting/Big data solutions, with at least 7 year experience in Banking Industry
