Vice President - Data Product - eCommerce

Hiring for a leading ecommerce market place, headquartered in Bangalore for the VP Data Product role.

Job Responsibilities :

- Build and manage a team with strong product culture

- Manage product backlog, objectively prioritise and create a roadmap for respective products in sync with all stakeholders

- Work cohesively with counterparts in various teams across Business, Product and Technology

- Take part in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, manage expectations and track roadmap

- Stay updated with the latest trends in relevant industries and explore opportunities to implement relevant trends in the company.

Data Products :

- Set-up a Data Product Team to work closely with Data Warehouse Engineering Leader and other Producers and Consumers of Data

- Improve use-ability of Data across the ecosystem through various activities including Cataloguing

- Ingress/egress management into central Data Warehouses

- Data modelling

- Automated Data reconciliation between systems

- Data transformations

- Data storage strategy, etc.

- Enrich and maintain a central user profile to service needs of various data consumers

- Work with Data Warehouse team to design for optimizing cost of data management Auth and Risk Products

- Keep pace with various authentication systems to create an effortless user authentication with high success rate for genuine users

- Work with engineering teams across BUs to ensure consistent implementation or latest supported methods

- Build verification services to act as 2nd level check in case of any suspicious attempt

- Be the Single Point of Contact for all Team in India for implementation of in-house Risk Management Product

- Work with Fraud and Risk teams to continuously enhance the authentication checks

Skills Required:

- 12+ years of experience in Product & Technology Development, with at least 5 years in Data Product eco system.

- Should have experience on working with platform products at high scale specific experience in working on Data products or with Data Warehouse teams will be a plus
