Vice President - Data Governance - Financial Services Firm

Our client is a global financial services firm who are supporting clients in their investment banking strategies.

Job Responsibilities :

- Leading and mentoring risk data team with ownership of data sourcing, data lineage, data governance, data ownership, data cataloguing.

- Ensuring data is compliant to BCBS 239 guidelines.

- Reviewing and implementing data policy and driving strategic risk data projects.

- Continuously identifying and improving the processes to ensure more accuracy and efficiency.

Essential Qualification and Skills:

- Strong Academics in Finance, Analytics or Math.

- 11+ years of relevant experience in data lineage, data sourcing, and governance.

- Hand on experience with working on regulations as per BCBS 239 guidelines.

- Strong people skills including team management and stakeholder management at global level.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
