Vice President - Credit - BFSI (12-20 yrs)
Experience :
- 12+ years; preferably in RCM/ ZCM/NCM at leading Bank/NBFC in retail loan (Consumer Durable/Personal loans/Credit Cards)
Job Description :
- As a part of the core leadership team, you will be responsible for leading, innovating, planning and growing the Credit/Risk/Underwriting function
Desired candidates
- 12+ years of experience in credit policy, operations and fraud control
- Unsecured consumer lending experience in banks and large NBFCs in Indian market
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulation of Risk policy, Dissemination & Adherence of Risk Policy across markets, managing distribution risk, maintaining loss rates within budget.
- Enhance and strengthen the credit lending framework including credit policy, risk operations and making credit policies for company's lending products.
- Recommend and follow through on policy changes, wherever required in order to improve the portfolio quality and the quality of application sourcing.
- Ensure credit policies and program risk acceptance criteria are reviewed regularly, with timely updates for proactive adaptation to changes in legal /regulatory requirements, business strategies, market environment or portfolio performance
- Setup processes and operational capability for proactive fraud prevention.
- Develop a rapport with the risk managers of other FinTech, banks and NBFCs and initiate concerted market action on fraudsters wherever required
- With good communication and presentation skill
- Would have handled retail asset portfolio of 500 crores+ in past
