- To plan, manage, and control the corporate budget. To maintain systematic cost records and provide various analysis/ MIS for cost control measures and comply with costing standards from time to time. As a head of MIS & Costing, the incumbent will be responsible for the reduction of a company's financial waste and increasing profits. 


- Duties include determining actual costs of manufacturing or providing a service, scrutinizing associated company expenses, analyzing profitability, and preparing the company budget. To effectively achieve financial objectives. He will be required to work closely with management and will report to CFO. Overall, he will be responsible to Provide planning and cost controlling support for all product which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes, etc

1. Plan, organize and direct all the activities of the cost accounting function

2. Manage day to day operations of the existing cost accounting function from the management of current rates to monthly close and analysis

3. Develop new, robust processes to drive productivity in the cost accounting function

4. Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost to operate statement along with supporting analysis

5. Assist with the coordination and deliverables for quarterly reviews and annual audits performed by internal and external auditors

6. Prepare ad hoc reporting and analyses and assist the team with research on cost accounting questions and assist with special projects as requested.

7. Proactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities to operations management

8. Develop metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers

9. Define policies and procedures for all cost accounting activities

10. Measure the performance of the lines, plants, product geographies & customers using key data

11. Support to product mix, customer mix & related business decision to optimize the operational profitability.

12. Set up standard costing, variance analysis & contribution systems

13. Responsible for costing, inventory management, and coordination of all activities with other departments such as operation and supply chain

14. Collect cost information and maintain an expense database.
