Vice President - Corporate Human Resource - BFSI - IIM/ISB/XIMB/SCMHRD (12-15 yrs)

We have an opening for VP Corporate HR for a Vendor development company which works with International Venture Development Companies, Fortune 100-500 Bands, Funds, Infrastructure Companies, Project Management Companies, Aggregators and Change Innovators to create Sustainable ecosystem by commercializing the IPs owned by the venture development companies

Location : Gurgaon

Designation : VP - Corporate HR

Reporting to : CSO

A. Job Purpose :

- To provide Leadership, Coordination & Strategic Direction to Corporate HR functions in order to have uniformity in the policies & processes.

B. Duties and Responsibilities :

Strategic Business Partner :

- The Head HR will work closely with the Management to formulate an organizational development plan to support business strategy and growth of the organization.


- S/He will be completely oriented to business and facilitate business success by constantly evolving optimum organization structure, resource planning and HR systems and processes.


- The HR leader will develop HR plans in line with the business plans. Having a global strategic outlook will be central to the success of this role

Driving Performance Orientation :

- The HR leader should instill a culture of - high performance orientation- and set up a transparent - goal-driven- KPI framework.


- S/He should periodically track this framework and design the consequence of rewards and recognition based on KPI performance.


- The HR leader will have to design compensation plans to help drive high performance orientation, including variable bonus plans and also focus on developing robust performance feedback mechanisms.

Manpower Planning & Talent Acquisition :

- S/He will lead the Manpower Budgeting and Planning cycles annually.


- The HR leader will be responsible for designing and driving the organization's talent needs from acquisition to retention.


- It will be his onus to establish clear dashboard with (TATs) Turn around Time.


- The HR Leader will ensure that MP & TA are in compliance with / adherence to the agreed budgets.


- He will be required to develop alternate channels of talent acquisitions viz - Employee Referral programs etc.

Training & Development :

- The role holder will be responsible for assessing the current Training & Development needs and develop a skill matrix. 


- The incumbent would also be responsible for training key employees on special interventional programs based on certain strategic needs, advising & contributing towards behavioral competency framework, training senior management, ROI management through process efficacies and analyze effectiveness of trainings delivered.


- The Incumbent will work very closely with outcomes of performance management system which will act as input for the T&D agenda.

Employee Morale And Engagement :

- With a clear vision the HR Head should create a robust work environment that would inculcate motivation, physical and mental wellness of all employees to achieve this goal.


- While HR Head will work along with the corporate management team in implementing the change agenda, he should not lose sight of the fact that the value is created in the plant and in the field.


- He should ensure that there are highly effective systems and measures to capture the output of blue-collared staff so adequate feedback and training is provided to each one of them.


- He would be required to create culture of open & transparent work place where employees- views are heard.

Ideal Candidate :

- MBA in HR from reputed Business Schools.

- Should be a senior HR Leader with at least 12 to 15 years of work experience.

- Last 5 years should be heading HR of a large organization

- Strong leadership capabilities to work in a dynamic and fast growing global environment.

- Strategic Thinker.

- Strong in Integrity and Dedication.

- Well abreast with latest HR systems and processes.

- Experience in Change management/OD/Coaching and Mentoring.

- Should have handled large people agenda.

- Strong interpersonal skills as role demand a very close interaction with various Business Heads.
