A Top Business house having interests in Renewable, Chemicals, Textiles, Non ferrous metals, Financial Services & Telecom is hiring for Job Objective - To assist Senior Management by coordinating between business operations, management's assurance (oversight) and internal audit to strengthen overall Control Environment in those respective businesses; bring in strategic insights & new developments in the internal audit profession through bringing in relevant practices and create a road map for specialized audit areas like IT / Technical / Forensic / Analytics (develop specialized skill sets to enhance overall audit effectiveness). Key Accountabilities - Provide strategic vision and functional thought leadership to align audit delivery (in conjunction with overall function strategy and respective businesses strategies) in dynamic environment (business and functional) - Prepare and/or direct preparation of function's core strategic documents like - audit charter-, - vision-mission-objectives-, - internal audit methodology and work procedures-, - near term i.e. 2 years function strategy plan - build understanding of the different Group businesses under the responsibility, industry developments, related regulations and its impact on the business. - Track new developments in internal audit space globally and bring in new thinking to improve and evolve audit methodology. - Build in an effective network (outside of Group) to understand and bring insights about different audit practices, approach, perspectives specific to an industry or in general about new developments in the internal audit profession. - Drive ownership for Specialised areas of audit like IT / Technical / Forensic / Analytics and create a roadmap to develop these specialised skill sets to enhance audit effectiveness - Prepare position paper on emerging topics of Functional relevance in GRC space and thereby assist the Function Head to disseminate the same within the Group for creating timely awareness on a pro-active basis. - To effectively plan (appropriate business risk coverage to minimize the audit risk) and complete assurance and advisory engagements within given time and budget (cost and resource - appropriate and sufficient). - Identify right co-sourcing partner and finalise contractual arrangements . - Review and provide critical inputs to overall annual audit planning methodology and its detailed components. - Enable coordination with other Risk management functions within respective businesses /Group Risk Management team and integrate insights in the internal audit plan. -Review along with the Business Audit Head and/or Team Leader and provide critical inputs. - To proactively engage and communicate audit results in accurate, clear, concise, constructive, complete and timely manner to impel management action - Plan, execute and administer specific projects and tasks to add value to the function or the business (examples could be initiatives to strengthen Governance, Risk management and Compliance landscape; other specific business and/or functional projects, Group wide initiatives driven from Group Corporate) Skills/Experience - 15-18 years of experience in a large Corporate role involving various businesses - Qualified CA/MBA - Strong Leadership SKills - People Management Skills - Business Acumen Those interested may apply or call on 8451801646 for clarifications
