Global Supplier Services brings together Sourcing, Third Party Oversight, Procurement Operations, and Accounts Payable into one team. This group of more than 800 employees manages the source to pay processes for a company and provides a governance model which includes strong risk management practices, enhanced performance monitoring, greater scale and strong client engagement.

The position is responsible for GSS Operations- control environment, including issue identification, escalation, remediation and validation; reporting, metrics, and root cause analysis; and partnering with Compliance, Audit and Operational Risk.

Position Summary : 

The GSS Operations Control Officer is responsible for maintaining and improving the global business control environment. The position requires business knowledge in some or all of the following areas: Operational Accounting, Accounts Payable, Tax, Fixed Assets, and Procurement Operations.

The position also requires experience and deep knowledge of risk and control methodology, issue management life cycle, and governance and reporting, as well as familiarity with audit best practices. The individual must have strong management and communication skills to work with a global team and influence internal business partners.

The position reports directly to the GSS Control Officer and is based in Jersey City, NJ.

Qualifications :

- Superior analytical skills, excellent business judgment, and effective problem solving and decision-making capabilities

- Deep control knowledge and ability to prioritize based on risk and simplify complex processes

- Familiarity with the end to end Source to Pay cycle

- Experienced in Audit/Risk/Compliance, Risk and Control methodology/practices, and self-assessment testing and sampling

- Effective communicator with management; ability to articulate concise summaries of situations, impacts, and remediation

- Strong team player with collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills

- Adaptable and innovative manager capable of refining plans and execution as situations evolve

- Sound presentation skills

- Capable educator and developer of staff

- Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks globally
