Vice President - Compliance
Role & Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance : Managing regulatory filings, returns, queries, and inspections conducted by RBI and NHB, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Assessment and Monitoring : Proficient in regulatory risk assessment, compliance monitoring procedures, and managing compliance frameworks.
- Annual Compliance Risk Assessment : Conducting annual compliance risk assessments and formulating management plans.
- Compliance Reporting : Submitting periodic and detailed annual compliance reviews to the Board and Senior Management.
- Implementation Oversight : Assisting the Board and Senior Management in implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Product Monitoring : Intensive monitoring of new products for compliance risks during the first six months of introduction.
- Compliance Testing : Performing and reporting compliance testing, examining staff accountability for compliance failures, and circulating preventive instructions.
- Regulatory Directions : Ensuring timely and effective compliance with regulatory/supervisory directions from RBI and other regulators, and reporting any issues or actions taken by other authorities.
- Training and Awareness : Developing and delivering compliance training to staff, keeping abreast of regulatory developments, and representing the company in discussions with regulatory authorities.
- Documentation and SOPs : Handling documentation, preparing standard operating procedures, processes, and controls for lending business.
Key Skills and Qualifications:- Minimum 7 - 10 Years of handling compliance
- Must be from a MSME lending setup
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of maturity in dealing with the Senior Management team, regulators and other stakeholders.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Proactive in detecting compliance issues and provide suitable advice.
