Major Responsibilities: - Lead Procurement team in managing day to day functioning of procurement and Logistics functions - Define and drive the Sourcing Strategy Regular monitoring of Supplier performance and continuous improvement of Cost, Quality and Delivery performances - Supplier rationalization and development of new suppliers - Consolidation of suppliers through introduction of strategic suppliers and long-term contracts with preferred suppliers - Support New product development by meeting cost and delivery timeline. - Budgeting of material cost and Supplier cost reduction Maintain lowest possible inventory. - Global Sourcing Ensure compliance to Governance policies and procedures related to procurement Procurement for CAPEX and consumables for factory Evaluation of logistics performances and making long term contract with transporters Key Skills : - Strategic Sourcing - Material Cost Reduction Techniques - Supplier negotiations - Localization - New Vendor Development - Global Value Sourcing - Spend Analysis - Supplier Risk Analysis - Supply Chain Strategy - Operational Procurement - Logistics Management - CAPEX Procurement - New Product Development - Supplier capacity planning
