Vice President - Collections & FCU - Bank

The role is to be a part of collections & fcu team and be responsible to drive company's collections with minimal NPAs and prevent frauds.

Key Responsibilities :

- Be the owner of Collections and FCU for the accounts for PAN INDIA locations. Build a robust and strong in-house Collections & FCU team. Ensure and check that collection policies and standards are being implemented at the ground level. Business Planning for the Organization. Management and presentation of Collection management information systems (MIS) and regular performance reviews.

- Ensuring that all the files and disbursements are checked for triggers - both concurrent and post disbursement. Concurrent to prevent frauds and post disbursement to check lapses in the process.

Develop and execute collection strategies consistent with the nature of exposure and gravity of delays in payment.

- Ensure the development and achievement of short, medium, and long-term plans of the collection's teams are fully aligned with operational/business strategy while being cost-effective.

- Continuously improve collections practices by identifying new ideas and methods, and by benchmarking against best practices and industry standards.

- Analyse & provide early warning indicators to Credit based on collection feedback & delinquency performance

- Work on initiatives that can enhance efficiency and automation of collection processes for better effectiveness

- Coordination with FI and RCU agencies for acting on triggers

- Analyzing findings of process audits with the help of central credit control team and recommending corrective actions

- Keeping track of frauds in the market and ensuring that the same are prevented in our system

- Track and analyse reports and MIS, review and implement performance sheets and provide feedback for course correction

- Coordinate with law firms/legal team, initiate legal actions against NPA accounts, re possession and sale of property

- Identification, empaneling, training and retention of the desired agencies at regional/area levels.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- 7-10 years of relevant work experience working in collections in a HFC/NBFC/Bank in retail lending.

- Qualifications: Minimum Post Graduate and above

- Experience of interacting with customers and cross functional teams.

- Adequate experience in managing agencies

- Understanding of digital collections as well as digital framework

- Excellent communication skills - verbal, and written (including report writing)
