Job Description

1. General Information

Position Title: VP Civil Purchase

Reports to: Project Sourcing Head

Department: Supply Chain Management

Job Location: Budhni

2. Organization Chart

3. Key Accountabilities

- Procurement Budgeting and Planning of all civil items required for new project at Budhni

- Collaborate with key internal stake holders to understand critical business/internal user requirements to achieve Strategic alignment and deliver on commitments on time.

- Technocomemrcial awareness / Life Cycle Cost / Cost Analysis, knowledge of Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Vendor Development and Logistics.

- Supply Planning, Preparation and Raising Invoices, verification of supplier invoices, processing of bills for payment and periodic reconciliation of payment received with Clients/Customers.

- Liaisoning between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.

- Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers and building and maintaining good relations with them.

- Negotiating and agreeing to contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of service provided. Ensuring timely processing payments and invoices. Advise functional departments & vendors on issues regarding purchasing Term & Conditions. E-Tendering.

4. Qualifications and Experience

Essential

- BE Civil with 8-10 years of experience into civil procurement including PEB Structures.

- Should have handled procurement of at least 300 + Crores project.

Preferred

- Working knowledge of SAP

- Good in building relations

- Adaptable and flexible in any situation

5. Knowledge and Other Skill

- Expertise in Sourcing / Procurement

- Excellent knowledge of Industrial projects

- Strong negotiating skills.

6. Reportees

- Manager/ Sr. Manager Civil Purchase ( 2-3) direct reportees.
