Vice President/Chief Technical Officer - Engineering - eCommerce

The Role:

We're seeking an experienced engineering leader either at a VPE or CTO position for an early-stage, fast-growing startup in the B2C space. In this role, you'll work with the founders in building the platforms, understand the long and short-term goals of the business, determine the right technology and approach to align with business goals. You'll provide technical direction and put the necessary roles and processes in place. Also, plan strategically for the growth, development, and building of the engineering team.

What You'll Do?

- Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse engineering team.

- Oversee the development, implementation and execution of multiple projects.

- Drive delivery and results, making progress through action during periods of scale.

- Work cross-functionally with product, design, and marketing to ship next-generation features.

- Provide career development, coaching and mentorship.

- Manage engineering morale, retention, culture, and performance.
