JOB DESCRIPTION - VICE PRESIDENT, CENTRE LEAD

- TresVista is a leading provider of high-end research, analytics and other customized financial services including valuation, financial modeling, research, portfolio management, etc.
- Founded in late 2006 by 2 ex-Merrill lynch bankers
- Strength is ~450 people and growing its client and revenue base at 50%
- Strong global client base - Primarily Private Equity firms, Boutique Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Corporates, and Family offices
Overview of the Role:
- This position will directly report to the Sr. Vice President, Operations and will be a part of the core management at TresVista
- A multi-faceted role requiring the individual to be responsible for the Pune Center holistically
- Assisting the Management to create processes and controls for all operational functions in the delivery center
- Responsible for setting Business Strategy and for providing leadership and vision for the long-term growth of the organization
Roles & Responsibilities :
Strategy & Vision :
- Ensuring that TresVista is adhering to the strategic plan, delivering status reports to the board
- Providing analytical support to TresVista's internal management team including development of internal management reporting capabilities for the center
- Maintaining continuous lines of communication, keeping the Management informed of all critical issues of the center
- Building & maintaining strong relationships across all internal departments for the smooth functioning of the center
- Good understanding of cost allocation concepts and practices, margin/profit and loss management and cost reduction for the center
- Setting up of business operations, and expansion of offices
- Proven ability to enhance operational excellence through successfully handling challenging problems and comes up with creative approaches/solutions to improve profitability impacting business growth
Team Development & Leadership :
- Overseeing, directing, and organizing the work of the operations for the Pune Center
- Structured, Analytical approach with a high sense of client focus, and process improvement
- Promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality
- Establishing a controlled & disciplined framework to ensure quality deliverables
- Assigning clear responsibilities, build strong team performance resiliency
Prerequisites :
- Minimum 10-20 years- experience in a management role, leading large teams independently and having profit and loss responsibility
- Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise
- Entrepreneurial team player with excellent multitasking skill
- Ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
- Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented
- Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as a strategic thinker
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively engage interface with senior management
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict management skills
