Vice President - Cash & Trade Operations - Custody Middle Office - Investment Banking (10-15 yrs)
Our client is a Global Investment Bank who is growing their presence in India and is searching for Custody Middle Office Operations Specialist (Vice President) to join their regional team.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for all aspects of Custodian function monitoring Intra-day and End of Day reports for Cash and Trade.
- Manage all cash exceptions and handholding till closure.
- Verify high value securities transactions, FX transactions and Payments for Unit Trust trades.
- Work with internal teams such as trade processing, pre-matching, settlements, cash processing, account opening and asset servicing to process and validate trades, investigate and resolve trade-
related breaks.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Financial Services industry, preferably in Custody Operations, Asset Servicing & Management, Fund Management, Global Markets or Prime Brokerage space.
- A relevant qualification (MBA /CA) and Investment Banking/Asset Management experience.
- Good understanding of Trade Life Cycle in Custody and Asset Management space.
- Good understanding of products Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income, Collateral etc. and associated risks.
- Strong communication and influencing skills required to be successful in this role
- Strong inter-personal skills and evidence of working across teams and geographies to produce timely and accurate output.
