Job Description:

Daily management and oversight of functions performed

Delivering cost per trade savings

Maintaining a green control environment

Building capacity for volume

Minimizing operational losses

Ensuring operational resiliency

Developing people and demonstrating leadership

Building partnerships with other groups within the organization to generate delivery synergies.

Budgetary planning and reporting

Facilitating new product roll outs

Drive company's wide initiatives and effectively partner with relevant linkages.

Managing Relationships

Typically has supervisory responsibility for staff and/or function within a department Creates strategic business partnerships and leverages these to negotiate innovative and cost effective client solutions

Actively encourages managers and staff to participate in structured development activities, both on the job and in the classroom, to enable adaptation of behavior and thinking to the changing business environment

Establishes strategic resource plans to ensure the organization has a highly capable and diverse talent base to meet current and future business needs

Fosters open honest communication with subordinates, business partners, management and employees

Facilitates and manages conflict resolution

Demonstrates sensitivity to cultural diversities

Manages remote teams

Commercial Skills:

Typically has management responsibility for a large or complex project and may have a regional or even global role or may be a technical specialist in one field.

Delivers within broad directives and budgets to the department's client, cost, control and expectations.

Leverages extensive business knowledge to build strong partnerships with customers to understand and anticipate their current and future needs.

Fosters an environment where innovative ideas from within or external to the company are valued and implemented and those responsible for innovation are rewarded.

Business Acumen:

Functions as a senior manager or technical advisor and contributes significantly to policy making and implementation.

Works independently within own span of control.

Leads the Resourcing of equipment or budgets, technical specifications and development

Possesses a combination of broad technology, operations and process skills

Skill Sets Required:

People leadership and development

Structured Project Management background.

Experience of managing in a changing environment.

Development and delivery of strategic visions

Structured Process Improvement methodology.

Experience of managing large teams in a global environment.

Ability to recognize high-risk situations and deal with them in a prompt manner, escalating where appropriate

Minimum of 10-20 years of overall experience in large bank, with a minimum of 5 years in relevant domain.
