Vice President - Business Rule Engine Risk Policy - NBFC

Key Responsibilities:

Single point owner of Business Rule Engine (BRE).

- Lead and drive to completion successfully (within timelines with intended benefit) any significant BRE related projects like FICO BRE re-platforming; work with Technology closely to track other associated technology infra improvement initiatives which improve go live TAT of change requests on policies and scorecards

- Understanding requirement from concerned policy manager for creation of new BRE rules or modifications required in the existing product policy.

- Ensuring the complete testing of BRE rules; maintenance of rules/authoring rules on system

- Implementation of changes in timely manner with minimal defects

- Requirement Compilation - Understanding the scope and flow of BRE requirement across systems from user (risk managers) and sharing the requirement with BRE IT Team

- To help relevant teams in assessment of issues, if any, encountered in the processing of case in any environment.

- To guide team in assessment of issue and query in any BRE/system related issue

- Responsible for rule authoring, testing and implementation of the BRE rules.

- Reporting of defects and tracking it till resolution.

- BRE rules /system modification to be tested within expected timelines.

- Understanding of application flow in different system

- Lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of risk assessment systems, tools, and technologies to streamline the risk evaluation process.

- Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to understand their risk assessment needs and requirements.

- Provide guidance and support to business units in implementing risk assessment processes and utilizing risk assessment tools effectively
