Synopsis of Role-

This position will be responsible for the management and coordination of the Business Performance activities of the company (India). This will be a roll based out of Pune and will focus on Financial Performance, Reporting and Analytics, Operational Performance, Operational and Financial Savings and key project tracking for initiatives that span across all areas across the company (India).

The detailed responsibility will be as following;

- Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting: Translating company's India's objectives and goals into a roadmap for execution and achievement and translating operational and financial targets into a budget (financial plan). Will also own and coordinate the process of periodic updates to the current view of future business performance, reflecting new or changing information, over a fixed annual or pre-defined rolling period. Supports the fiscal year planning process by providing historical data and trend information for review & use.

Work in partnership with Finance Team and all Exco members within company (India) to develop the annual operating plan including:

- Participate in business reviews to drive the process of linkage between plan and performance management

- Drive institutionalization of relevant best planning practices for organizational excellence 


- Drive institutionalization of corporate-wide best practices in planning, business performance management, etc

- Business Performance Reporting: Create an environment and the tools by which company (India) provides stakeholders with integrated financial and operational information to enable effective performance monitoring and decision-making

- Decision Analytics: Ability to collect, analyze, understand and use data to deploy robust economic, financial and statistical models to improve decision-making across company (India)

- Business Performance Measurement: Process of identifying key value drivers and defining metrics to inform performance, support decision making, and foster positive behavior and actions.

- Business Advisor: Provide Thought Support to the company's (India) Executive Committee and Operating Committee

- Drive the alignment among different stakeholders to facilitate decision making

- Provide a strategic perspective to the management on relevant issues

- Support operations and shared services in execution of strategy

Key Accountabilities

The institutionalization of the Monthly / Quarterly and Annual Business Performance review of the operations locally and along with senior stakeholders in the organization

- Creation and delivery of reports and dashboards to local Executive Committee and creating summaries and synopsizes for the crisper understanding of information

- Drive the dimension of business performance with the local managers through partnering, bringing thought leadership to the table and being the change agent

- Tracking, measuring and identifying areas for the annual savings target and alerting the executing team on any deviations
