Vice President - Business Line P&L - Auto Component Manufacturing (20-25 yrs)
Position : VP - BL P&L (Pune Region)
Reporting to : Managing Director
Reporting in : All Functional Heads

Position Overview : Strategically lead and drive the company's business to a growth path by maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability.
Experience:
- Approx. 20-25 years experience with 3-5 years leadership role in an auto component manufacturing/ engineering company and exposure of handling a medium sized turnover business. This role will have P&L responsibility.
- Emphasis on manufacturing operations, project management and organization development. This role also involves a great deal of strategic execution through operational excellence.
Age: 45-50 years
Location: Pune
Qualifications: B.E. Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical from a reputable university, MBA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for P&L and cash flow of all plants.
- Provide leadership and direct plant heads to implement strategies and objectives to achieve operational excellence.
- Develop business plans and lead the business development team in sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities.
- Support the overall process of management and decision making to ensure that the organization maximizes its short, medium and long term profitability and shareholder returns.
- Maintain personal relationships with important customers and suppliers as well as public agencies and responsible for customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to formulation of short and long term strategy.
- Maintain and control production plan and processes.
- Lead projects to optimize production technology, to increase production capacity and to establish new production segments.
- Responsible to be a bridge between development (engineering and vendor) and mass production.
- Responsible for setting up of new plants if any in future.
Ensure that manufacturing is linked to other critical business areas such as sales, procurement in order to ensure a holistic business approach.
- Develop, establish and execute operating policies to support overall company policies and objectives.
- TPM way of working and lean manufacturing with emphasis on waste reduction and productivity improvement.
