Job Role:

An exciting leadership opportunity to create a legacy and build a brand new category for the global consumer. This is a unique opportunity to help build the Institutional Sales Business of an innovative organisation working at the forefront of providing wellness solutions for consumers in the area of Radiation Protection.

As a key member of the Institutional Sales Team, the VP- BD will lead the Sales Efforts and Engagement for the Key Accounts in his Portfolio. You will identify, define and drive the business within a set of Key Accounts, explore new avenues and new methods of reaching institutional clients in sync with the Commercial Strategy of the Organisation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

To run the Corporate Business development for India in ways that facilitate deep Client Relationships, sustain growth and higher profitability.

- Co Create and own the Sales Targets for yourself and the team.

- Devising new and creative strategies to achieve Sales Targets

- Develop, maintain and improve relationships with Key Accounts and the Team Portfolio

- Be the first-person-responsible for all engagement activity at Key Accounts within the geography/sector

- Prepare the Business Reports in sync with Management ask and reporting frequency

- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.

- Set direction for and manage a young and sharp Sales Team that expands as well as sets up the new B2B2C Channel for success.

- Establish strong, productive and collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

- Demonstrate a commitment to self-development and developing others, building long-term staff capability and competency within the team.

Requirements

- At least 8-10 years of work experience in Corporate / Institutional Sales in senior level roles experience in category creation is preferred.

- Candidates from Hospitality, Banking and other Services Sales will be preferred

- Proven track record in Sales with experience in building business in a new territory / geography / category.

- Experience in running successful Client Relationships that deliver sustained growth

- Experience in leading a team of star performers in Sales

- Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders including CXO-level Customers.

- Leadership skills with the ability to set the agenda and take people along and build capability within the Sales function.

- Minimum bachelor degree level; MBA in marketing or technical education preferred.

- Proficient in MS Office, especially POWERPOINT & EXCEL
