Vice President - Business Continuity - Captive Unit (12-25 yrs)

We have an urgent opening with one of the largest captive unit based in Gurgaon.

Level : VP

Domain : Business Continuity Management

Certified or prepared to be certified as a BC Planner with BCI, DRI or other recognized organization.

- Develops, coordinates, implements, and provides advice, reporting and services on a variety of risk management issues, primarily focusing on Business Resiliency. Supports the Corporation and each of its operating companies to minimize risk by resolving issues and ensuring adherence to business and established Business Resiliency standards.Gathers, documents and examines data to determine compliance and to monitor ongoing activities and/or concerns. Investigates and responds to serious issues that may compromise our ability to quickly respond to business interruptions and other events that might lessen our ability to conduct business as usual.

- Provides overall direction and oversight for the MMC Global Preparedness program to support and maintain a strong business resiliency, preparedness and response environment across MMC. Coordinates actions to mitigate business continuity risks associated with offices, functions and operations to maintain the well-being of employees, protect assets, and provide continued service for clients during business disruptions. Regularly assesses recovery capability and reports on status to stakeholder groups. Facilitates 24x7 preparedness real time response support.Coordinates activities with the functions/groups that play a role in crisis management. Maintains, updates, validates business impact assessments (BIAs) to identify critical applications/systems and recovery capabilities and priorities. Coordinates Preparedness Program training and awareness activities across MMC .Supports the governance, project management and quality management activities of the MMC Global Preparedness program.

- Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of business continuity plans, policies, and procedures across all assigned business units including remote offices; Assists business unit and supports recovery team leaders in planning and maintaining active recovery plans.

- Participates in strategic planning meetings throughout all levels of the company to ensure viable ongoing recovery plans.

- Provides direction to staff members and Management when conducting recovery operations during exercises or during an actual emergency.

- Monitors risks as they relate to the company, reporting periodically the financial impact to the corporation's business operations; Conducts annual risk assessments by location.

- Develops Business Continuity training programs that will maintain a readiness regardless of staff turnover or effects of a disaster.

- Conducts business unit tests to ensure that strategic business initiatives and priorities are reflected in recovery plans; Documents and reports on the effectiveness of exercise/tests of the Business Continuity Plan.

- Functions as a member of the BRM Regional Crisis Management Team.

- Supports the governance, project management and quality management activities of the MMC Global Preparedness program, including training, testing, vendor risk management, audit coordination and other related risk management activities.

- Support development, implementation and deployment of tools and processes for the MMC Preparedness program.
