Vice President - Banking Operations - Financial Firm

Our client is a global financial institution with a sizeable Investment Banking Operations division in India, supporting their global footprint. To help facilitate their continued expansion they are actively looking for Vice President - Banking Operations with a consulting and operations strategy background who will be working with senior global functional leads to define the strategy and carry through its implementation. Our client is looking at hiring an experienced female candidate only for this role.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Lead the Regulatory Services Operations.

- Ensure timely completion and submission of daily, weekly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports

- Work closely with teams across the organization such as Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Financial Controls and resolve regulatory reporting issues

- Work closely with the LOB, Change Management and Technology to reduce the operational risk.

- Requires in-depth knowledge of the financial solutions and associated operations.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- At least 8+ years of management experience in consulting and operations strategy

- Proven track record of at least 3+ years in team and people management

- Understanding of financial services regulatory environment

- A strong management consulting background combined with execution experience

- Experience within financial services and capital market operations

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
