Vice President/Assistant Vice President - Product Control - Bank

A leading global bank in Mumbai is looking out for female candidates a VP / AVP in Product Control

ROLE SUMMARY:

- Review daily P&L, understand risk positions and market moves for P&L explanation and review flash vs formal differences

- Service ad hoc queries from traders related to trading revenue and Balance Sheet

- Engage with risk managers on risk positions and P&L

- Gain an understanding of provisioning and price testing controls, and review month end working

- Perform daily validation and substantiation of P&L and attributed P&L (Greek Attribution)

- Review month end adjustments and Balance Sheet validation

- Review and analyze complex financial reports/statements

- Ensure teams' KPI and SLA are met

- Undertake Product Controls system related projects, process enhancements, UAT testing, change the bank/change management/process excellence, etc.

- Reporting & resolution of manual adjustments and breaks

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

- 12+ years (VP) or 8-11 years (AVP) of experience largely in a Product Control environment

- CA/ CS/ MBA/ CIMA or a graduate in Accounts/Commerce

- Strong financial product knowledge (Equity, Commodities, Fixed Income & FX)

- Strong people management skills

- Ability to work across global stakeholders

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Flexible to work across APAC (5.30/6.30AM) or EMEA (1:30/2: 30 PM start time) time zone
