Role Description - Summary

This is an Ops Lead - Manager of Managers- position. The individual is accountable and responsible for Service Delivery, Efficiency Realization, Resiliency, Direct Costs, and Upstream & Downstream Process Relationships and interaction with the larger Organization. Directly responsible for AVPs with oversight to a larger span including the Team Managers and Team Members. The position would Report to the Functional / Ops Head working through Functional / Operational / Relationship issues, Succession and CTB Planning. He/she will work with the AVPs for RTB/ BAU performance, efficiency initiatives, transitioning of any new process, meeting hiring requirements and enabling training. The VP would also be accountable for BCM, Audits and People related initiatives. One of the key expectations is understanding the global organizational matrix, navigating the same and influencing key stakeholders towards optimal decision making.

Functional Skills

- Have knowledge of the Reconciliation process and the associated Investment and Accounting Book of Records and relationship with Custodians.

- An understanding of associated Swifts / internal feeds would be a plus.

- Ability to relate the Reconciliation process to upstream and downstream functions with an overall Operational view.

- Appreciate the Risk of open Cash & Position breaks. Escalate for resolutions.

- Analytical mindset to address upstream issues for purposes of Break Elimination.

- Understanding of Security and Trade Life Cycle of various financial products is a pre-requisite

Responsibilities / Tasks

- Conduct regular Operational and Functional reviews of Productivity and Control Metrics.

- Consistent review of KPIs and KRIs with the AVPs and the Team Managers.

- Effectively manage & reduce Risk to foster a robust control environment

- Oversight of ensuring that process documentation, benchmarks, capacity model, baseline volumes etc. are in order.

- Ensure employee engagement across the process and the site.

- Driving Process Improvement through innovation

- Perform Mid-Year and Year-End reviews of AVPs and ensure the same for the larger span as per Organizational guidelines.
