Accountability:
To lead critical functions Finance & Accounts, Information Technology and Legal.
To develop and implement an innovative, growth focused commercial strategy that ensures a profitable business growth.
To develop Finance & Accounting strategies for healthy profitability and ROI
- Create, coordinate, and evaluate the current financial programs and supporting information systems of the company.
- Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company.
- Develop and maintain P&L Statement for the organization
- AOP & LRP preparation, review & control processes, preparing budgets and pricing study.
- Latest Forecast preparation with analysis with actuals and budgets
- Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
- Implement operational best practices, ensure adherence to the laid down
- System Processes, Service Standards and Compliance.
- Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Evaluation of current / new business proposal with Capital Expenditure viability.
- Ensure financial integrity with strict compliance to local statutory, regulatory, legislative and tax requirements and compliance to Group Reporting requirements.
- Oversee the issuance of financial information
- Report financial results to CEO / the board of directors
- Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced
- Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions, if any.
Funding
- Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
- Arrange for debt and equity financing
- Invest funds appropriately
Risk Management
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
- Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry
- Design and monitor reliable control systems
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
- Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors
- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
India Steering Team Member
- Being part of the Indian Steering Team, heading Finance & Accounts,
Information Technology and Legal departments to mission and vision.
- To ensure most effective use of available resources to meet business objectives and ensure People Management and confirming best practices to be implemented.
- Maintaining an awareness of external factors (including competitors, government business initiatives, current and proposed legislation in relation to commercial activities) which impact the business. Communicating such information and any subsequent changes to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and to IST
- Undertaking market research and analysis for producing business plans/recommendations (including all associated costs and forecasted revenue for the business), to ensure that all business development opportunities (new products, services and markets) are optimized.
- Co-ordinate with R&D, Marketing, HR, Sales and SCM functions for effective & efficient running of the Business

Experience & Education:
- A qualified Chartered Accountant and MBA from a premier B School;
- 15 - 25 year's Experience in FMCG / Manufacturing Sector;
- Be familiar with food dairy/non-dairy products;
- Rich experience in people management and system processes;
- Be familiar with modern management systems.
