VIBGYOR High - Manager - Finance Planning & Analysis (8-10 yrs)
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :
The role requires a person with a good analytical skills to prepare and review MIS, prepare projections, prepare budgets, deal with auditors, prepare financial statement on a standalone and consolidated basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE :
1. Responsible for undertaking detailed evaluation of performance for various business units
2. Undertaking SWOT analysis of various business units and identifying areas of improvement
3. Critical analysis of actions taken based on MIS observations and identifying additional areas that can be focussed on
4. Comparative analysis of various business units and determining need to adopt best practices of each unit
5. Prepare long term and short term projections for cash flow planning as well as submission to financial institutions
6. Preparation of financial statements on a standalone and consolidated basis
7. Identifying areas for undertaking cost control measures
8. Preparation of annual budgets and recasting it on a periodic basis
9. Working in close coordination with various business units
10. Analyse the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, EBIDTA, DSCR, Current ratio, etc.
11. Analysing reasons for variance of actual performance with budgeted performance and identifying required corrective action
12. Liasing with auditor for getting financial accounts audited
13. Developing financial models for analyse and evaluate the new business initiatives
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS :
1. Accurate and timely preparation of MIS
2. Consolidation of budgets for various business units
3. Preparation of financial statements
4. Preparation of Budgets
5. Undertaking financial modelling
KEY INTERACTIONS :
INTERNAL :
1. MIS team Lead MIS team and ensure effective delegation
2. Tax team Coordinate with Tax team on various transactions
3. Corporate Finance Closely work with treasury team on submission of data relating to past performance and future projections
4. Business Team Work closely with business team for preparation of Budgets, critical analysis of MIS data and identifying areas of improvements
EXTERNAL :
1. Auditor Liase with auditor
2. Banks Liase with banks and financial institutes on need basis
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE :
KNOWLEDGE :
1. Knowledge of various accounting policies
2. Good analytical skills
SKILLS :
1. CA or MBA with 8-10 years of experience
2. Good control over Microsoft excel
3. Well versed with various ERPs including Tally, Microsoft, SAP, etc
ABILITIES :
1. Good communication skills
2. Team player as well mature team leader
3. Relationship development skills
ROLE REQUIREMENTS :
Education Qualification : CA or MBA
