1. Client relations (existing and new) :

a. Support the team in Identifying and generating new clients by market mapping and plotting potential category brand to generate a strong sales pipeline

b. Proactively reach out and form healthy working relationships with the clients

c. Develop open and effective channels of communication with each client to provide regular updates on the progress of various campaigns as well as for retention & growth opportunities

d. Demonstrate commitment to client relationship by anticipating and responding promptly to client needs

2. Client Solutions :

a. Guide the team in conceptualising innovative client solution/integration strategies

b. Ideate and pitch solutions to integrate client needs with channel

c. Effectively communicate the Viacom 18 value proposition through proposals and presentations

d. Collaborate with multiple departments (programming, OAP, marketing) internally to ensure efficient execution of client deliverables

3. Team Management :

a. Provide inputs to the HR Partner to create a workforce plan in alignment with the overall business plan for the business, highlighting future staffing and skill requirements

b. Identify skill gaps and training needs for each team member, and guide their development journey to build a talent pipeline and aid succession planning

c. Support and guide the team in setting up and achieving their goals

d. Review team performance on regular basis

e. Provide recognition

f. Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel

4. Sales Management :

a. Maximize effective rates for all sponsorship deals, ad spots and LOBs

b. Ensure delivery of sales goals against timelines and planned revenue

c. Work closely with sales operations to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.

d. Assist sales operations team in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies

e. identify opportunities for sales process improvement on a proactive basis and facilitates the same Key Performance Indicators :

- Achievement of Regional Ad-Sales targets for Colors SD

- Key Account & Client relationship management through non-FCT deals, integrations, incremental revenues, addition of new clients

- Timely and effective gathering of information, sharing of reports, and forming insights to take effective decisions

- Timely goal setting, feedback and appraisal; effective recognition for team members to drive motivation
