1. During an incident/crisis situation, act as the Global Crisis Manager, supporting the BCM and Security Operations teams through proactive communication, reporting, liaison and support. Full

2. Maintaining an open channel and update stakeholders on a timely basis until business as usual state is achieved. Be available to respond to incidents and crisis situations during off-hours on a need basis. Full

3. Ensure that all global hotspots are monitored and the requisite information and situational reports passed on to stakeholders on a routine and on-demand basis. Keep updating the situational reports with actions on ground to ensure concurrency. Full

4. Work closely with the Regional Security Managers to ensure that regional priorities on disruptive incidents and crisis management are addressed. Full

5. Support the development of Travel Security and Duty of Care initiatives for the organization, in close liaison with the Travel Desk. Full

6. Create event forecasts, special reports, incident and event trends and their impact to VFS Global so that stakeholders can take timely decisions on impending risks. Full

7. Day to day management of the Crisis Response function, including GRC, Crisis Management database and other deliverables. Evaluate and respond to feedback from all stakeholders on the products generated by GRC. Full

8. Establish performance goals and priorities for team members and self, in line with Corporate Security and business priorities. Full

9. Actively participate in hiring of new team members, adhering to policies and procedures, and create motivational strategies to drive quality performance Full

10. Create, establish, implement and review departmental policies, guidelines, templates. Prepare decks and collaterals for high impact presentations for clients on VFS Global's Crisis Management / GRC capabilities. Full
