The purpose of this role is
- Preparation and consolidation of monthly MIS, Statutory & Group books of accounts i.e. BS, PL, Cash Flow etc.
- Financial details communication to executive team and Board.
- Development and implementation of financial systems along with automation team in SAP environment.
- Other general duties and relationships as agreed with management
Areas of Responsibility & brief description :
1. Controlling and administrating of central account under ERP (SAP BPC), IFRS environment, maintain BPC tool for master data check, logic checks and ensure that all master data is properly maintained in SAP
2. Assist in producing the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, coordinate with the regional finance team to ensure the accounting entries are closed in SAP as per timelines on monthly basis
3. Create and improve reports which are used for validating and analyzing reported figures and make process improvement suggestions where applicable
4. Analyze reported figures and discuss/follow-up with the respective regional financial manager or controller and provide reasons for variances to budget/forecast
5. Preparing of monthly / quarterly IFRS cash flow statement in BPC at consolidated level
6. Ensure process review and Improvement. Validation of various provisions at central and regional level
7. Review of the P&L and balance sheet in order to ensure accuracy and completeness
8. Assist in preparing presentations for various stakeholders, including Executive Board and Advisory Board
Experience: 8 - 15 years post-qualification, either Big 4 or MNC environment with financial consolidation experience for multiple identities consolidation as per IFRS in SAP BPC will be preferred
Knowledge & Key Skills:
- Excellent accounting and IFRS knowledge
- Sound experience with consolidations in accordance with IFRS
- Preferably has knowledge of SAP & BPC
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines timely and work in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical skills & business understanding
