Vertical Head - Sales Function - Ad Sales - Auto/BFSI/Fashion/Lifestyle (6-12 yrs)
ABOUT THE COMPANY
This is an award-winning digital startup looking at hiring Vertical Heads (Sales) to add and grow their fantastic line of products.
The role is based out of Gurgaon.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
- This is a strategic role and will require you to get a deep understanding of your clients- requirements
- You will be responsible for sales revenues from your chosen vertical (or verticals) like auto, BFSI, F&B, fashion, lifestyle, etc.
- You will manage a team of Managers and guide them to achieving their targets
- Based on market feedback, you will give inputs to the product team that will help shape the product
- Your day-to-day role will comprise of meeting clients, pitching the company's products and building the client base
- Be the single point of contact for your clients
- Take ownership of your vertical, sales revenues and team development goals
DESIRABLE WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Between 6 to 10 years of experience in advertising sales (ad sales)
- Preference will be given to those with digital ad sales experience
- A good network with key brands and advertisers in your chosen vertical
- A good understanding of the digital advertising and media space
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Great presentation skills, telephone manner and email etiquette
- Self-starter with a desire to meet financial targets
- A masters degree in business (or related) from a top-tier college/university
