Job Summary:

Corporate US Mortgage trainer to ensure learning and development needs of the team/individuals assigned to, are addressed, and administered. Knowledgeable, possess excellent communication skills, patience, and analytical skills, among others. Collaboration with trainees, stakeholders (internal/ external customers) is critical. US Mortgage experience is critical(Origination)

Knowledge, Skill & Ability:

- Knowledge of mortgage business line (Origination and servicing)

- A good understanding of training modes and methods

- Ability to develop training modules from scratch and effectively deliver training sessions

- Effectively communicate, comprehend and resolve matters. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to learn and consistently improve on performance

- Manage various types of people effectively while achieving all set goals of task, project, process or client

- Ability to determine ethical and moral implications, actions of a situation, stringently follow them and ensure that teams assigned also adhere to

- Eye for Detail and high standards of excellence and achievement

- Patience and ability to maintain positive attitude

- Focus, identify and resolve problems and situations and

- Planning and organization skills and the tenacity to see things through

- Taking ownership and driving business results through training

- Ability to speak for extended hours and conduct classrooms or online training

- Ability to work extended hours when required

- Ability to travel - domestically and internationally if required

Responsibilities:

- Ensure all employees from the process assigned to are provided with knowledge of Verity's business practices, policies and procedures

- To design, create and deliver job specific training to all new/existing employees

- To effectively transition functions between locations as required

- To effectively communicate with internal and external clients and manage related challenges and conflict

- To consistently improve new employee training material and procedures

- To monitor employee productivity and quality, and provide training when required

- To regularly plan and hold coaching and feedback sessions with employees

- To evaluate and measure training activities, effectiveness and publish reports periodically

- To participate/ spearhead projects- process, Business and Human Resources related

- To get effectively cross trained on various areas of the industry and become competent

Additional Requirements:

- Willingness to work in Night Shifts, weekends, if required
