Vendiman - Manager - Supply Chain

Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy (Structure, Commercials, Manpower requirements, etc,)

- Design, develop, implementation of warehouse/dark stores, distribution and logistics solutions

- Determine and implement key supply chain KPIs

- Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner; suggest solutions for process improvements

- Manage and govern national operations via the regional operations team & distribution partners

- Map market and alternate distribution partners for expansion. Maintain funnel for existing and new cities

- Program manage Pan India implementation of strategic initiatives related to distribution partners

- Work with cross functional team to determine best vendors and distribution partners

- Build and maintain good relationships with vendor and distribution partners

- Track competitive intelligence-

Desired Profile:

- Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager for 10+ years, especially managing distribution of fresh and packaged foods

MBA from institutes of repute/ Tier 1 school

- Possessing strong teamwork skills, problem-solving skills & customer centricity skills

- Certification in project management is an added advantage

- Experience working with startups is a plus

- Self-motivated with strong leadership skills & attention to details, unconventional, lateral thinker, challenging status quo

- Organized, structured and disciplined. Very high quality of work/attention to detail. Ability to collaborate effectively. Thinks through 360 degrees. Stitches up complete solutions/ensures no loose ends. Gets things done.

- Good analytical skills and act structured in a result- and quality-oriented manner

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Industry: Preferred experience from Food Retail, Consumer Services and FMCG sector.
