About the Role:-

We are looking for a digital-savvy community manager / Social Media Manager to run and engage the D2C community. The community manager will represent our brand and build awareness and loyalty for Velocity. They will also contribute to our online/social presence, and take control of our online voice, and align company communications, social posts, and marketing content. You will be the first point of contact for our online fans and followers too.

Responsibilities:-

- We are looking for a digital-savvy Community Manager to be the voice of our client's brands online.

- You will be required to organize multiple online and offline events, meetups, or podcasts to keep the community members engaged

- You will be required to identify and understand the shifting trends in the D2C industry and curate content that will add value to our D2C clients

- Your responsibilities will include engaging with an online community and responding to comments and requests in a timely manner, Liaising with clients directly during the day, relaying community feedback to relevant internal stakeholders

- You will be the first point of contact for current and potential community members

- To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bent toward customer service as well as towards building relationships with the brand's fans.

- You must have an outgoing personality and be able to embody the tone of voice of different brands across various industries.

- We are looking for someone who can inject brand personality across all community management touchpoints online, as well as have experience in directly communicating with clients and being able to work independently.

- Devise and implement community communication initiatives. Work with your relevant Social Media Managers to stay up-to-date on account happenings

- Able to provide support during unexpected crises and when a brand has to manage issues

- Ability and proactiveness to do desktop research to propose responses and update FAQ sheets.

Your Profile

- Have an active fanbase and follower base on any at least one of the prominent social media like LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, or YouTube

- Have a good understanding of the D2C space

- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

- Good experience within Community Management

- You have strong interpersonal skills and can build relationships with and influence stakeholders
