Purpose of the role:
The vision is to build a best in class performance marketing team enabled by the right marketing tech and analytics systems to deliver business outcomes at scale at optimum costs with speed of execution.
The performance marketing head will be responsible for building the overall strategy, roadmap, implementing plans and managing marketing campaigns that promote Vedantu offerings amongst different consumer segments of learners. He or she will play a major role in driving traffic, acquiring, engaging and retaining learners across our platforms through various performance marketing channels.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build a strong Digital Performance Marketing strategy to help Vedantu to reach its target audience at scale to deliver growth at optimum costs.
- Build and lead best-in-class performance marketing team: Training, learning & development, recruitment, management, org structure and more.
- Plan and execute all performance marketing campaigns through paid mediums to meet business growth by category and segment of user needs
- Acquisitions & Traffic Growth - Bringing CAC down with a steady focus on quality user growth & retention.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) and the business impact.
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests. Drive a mindset of building a pipeline of multiple experiments in digital marketing to drive growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and build perspective for adoption where appropriate.
- Should be able to build agile capabilities in the digital marketing portfolio to be able to meet dynamic business needs.
- Drive Marketing-Tech roadmap in coordination with Tech-Product team and work closely with product & engineering teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years in handling digital marketing of a progressive B2C Tech Company at a
- Proven track record of growth hacking through performance marketing.
- Experience in a startup or entrepreneurial venture would be a big plus or a start up mentality - entrepreneurial with a "roll up sleeves" attitude.
- Must have channel expertise and thought leadership when it comes to performance marketing, marketing tech, ASO and its best practices.
- High bias for action, ability to think laterally & innovate.
- Comfort working in a fast paced, dynamic and often ambiguous environment where multi tasking & prioritising is highly essential.
- Good written & verbal communication skills & design sensibility.
- Good undergrad degree, MBA from top 10 college a plus.
