Objective of the Role :
- Business Planning Lead will be responsible for planning the year, quarter, month and week for all the businesses and ensure its alignment top down. This role will work in close collaboration with cross functional teams across marketing, category, sales, product and academics.
Key Responsibilities Areas :
- Ownership of Business planning, resource planning, budget planning, revenue accounting
- Define, develop and implement business planning processes and framework
- Understand business direction and needs, roadmaps and assessment of potential business impacts of new and existing initiatives
- Coordinate and align cross-functional teams to improve business planning and show predictable growth
- Identify business problems and solutions of the same for improvements
- Tracking the outputs and, associated input levers along with execution
- Provide timely root cause analysis of the deviations from the plan and the potential business impact
- Work with individual teams to create recovery plans to meet the business targets
- Provide input on strategy, direction, focus & prioritization in the Business growth
- Stimulate an environment where forward planning, prioritization, deadline management, streamlined workflows and collaborative, inclusive yet effective and efficient work practices are the norm
- Create & review the business plans before review by BU Management
- Planning, monitoring & Coordinating strategic program
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of market dynamics such as competitor analysis, market share, demographic trends, and growth projections.
Working closely with:
- Head of Sales
- Head of Marketing
- Leads of all categories
- Head of Academics of all BUs
- Product & Marketing leads
Preferred Candidate :
- Must be an MBA graduate (premier institute) with 4+ years of experience.
- Should have worked on solving business problems for 2+ years
- Should have had a people management role experience of 2+ years
- Should have high ethical and moral standards of running the business
- Should be driven to create sustainable impact
