VComply - Manager - Product Marketing (4-10 yrs)

Looking for candidates to help set up Vcomply product marketing and lead nurturing infrastructure. Responsibilities include owning the content strategy and execution, working with digital marketing on distribution, marketing asset creation, working with customers to create case studies, white papers, and run webinars for Vcomply's prospects and customers. You will also be responsible for creating the Vcomply customer community. The candidate will be a core part of the growth efforts of VComply and will get an upfront view of growing a SaaS company. This role reports to the head of growth.

Duties & Responsibilities :

- Nurture in-bound leads and helping convert them to sales qualified leads

- Develop content strategy and execute on the content calendar

- Build case studies on product use cases working with the customers and product team

- Work with the Head of Growth and digital marketing on marketing asset creation and distribution

- Set up landing pages and thought leadership blogs and help improve conversion for leads to sign up

- Set up webinars and other community events to engage prospects and existing customers

- Represent Vcomply at events (virtual for now) where we are sponsors and be an ambassador for the firm

- Manage freelancers, and in-house content writers and designers to create the best in class content

- Build strategy for creating a community for Compliance Officers and Vcomply Customers

Team Function :

- Work with growth leadership to effectively translate goals into actions

- Collaborate with sales and product teams- team to drive engagement with customers and prospects

- Support in preparing reports and share insights by subsequent analysis of marketing performance

Requirements :

Skills Required :

Knowledge, skills and experience :

- 4+ years of experience in Product Marketing. B2B SaaS experience with US market a plus

- Critical thinking, negotiating, and stakeholder management

- Excellent communication skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing

- Complete ownership - will not pass the buck and ready to go beyond call of duty

- Goal oriented - Ensure goals are achieved, and navigate road blocks by leveraging leadership where ever necessary.

Qualification/Experience Required :

- Above 4+ years of experience in community building and marketing with experience in the North American Market

- Experience in creating the right messaging for the customers, and driving towards engagement

- Has a bachelor's/master's, but relevant experience always trumps qualifications

What will this role look like for you?

In the first week :

1. Onboard and integrate into Vcomply - meet the team, understand where we are and where we hope to be

2. Audit existing marketing content and initiatives within the company

3. Attend demos with customers and customer calls to understand pain points of customers and our offering

4. Learn about the compliance and risk industry and competition and competitor research

In the first month :

1. Learn about the compliance industry and the problems across industries - learn to speak the language of the industry

2. Create a hiring plan for the product marketing function for the goals set

3. Audit content and create a content strategy for the team and execute on the content calendar

4. Run experiments on the content that works and that does not work, set up processes to measure RoI for initiatives

5. Create a list of interesting conferences and partnerships to distribute content

In the first quarter :

1. Create a pipeline of qualified leads that can be transferred to sales for conversion

2. Leverage existing leads and remarket to them via existing and new channels

3. Set up multiple marketing asset distribution partnerships and create multiple channels for lead generation

4. Set up a process to develop white papers and thought leadership articles with industry leaders

5. Take ownership of industry conferences and meetups and be the representative for Vcomply

6. Work on reputation of Vcomply across vendors like G2/Gartner and work on the Vcomply brand

In the first six months :

1. Build and lead the product marketing team at Vcomply

2. Track leads and conversions by channel and advise on capital allocation

3. Set up Vcomply on the path to becoming the number 1 brand in the GRC space

4. Constantly improve the efficiency of marketing campaigns

5. Work with sales on battle cards and using assets for conversions
