Finance Manager


Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:


- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of at least 5 finance professionals, including Accounts Executives, Assistant Managers.

- Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and foster a positive and productive work environment.

- Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting: Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

- Manage the accounting for group companies, ensuring accurate consolidation of financial results.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.

- Corporate Tax Planning & Management: Advise on corporate tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws.

- Manage tax audits and prepare responses to tax notices.

- Corporate Banking: Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.

- Oversee cash flow management, including bank reconciliations and treasury operations.

- Audits & Compliance: Coordinate and oversee statutory, tax, and internal audits.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.

- Accounts Receivable (AR) Management: Track and monitor revenue, ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition, and oversee the collection of outstanding receivables.

- Accounts Payable (AP) Management: Review and approve cost approvals and job tracking.

- Conduct vendor KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures.

- Payments Verification: Act as the "Maker" in the payment verification process, ensuring all payments are accurate and authorized before uploading them to the bank.

- Commercial Tax Management: Manage all aspects of commercial tax compliance, including GST, TDS, and other relevant taxes.

- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and payment of taxes.

- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate financial information to management, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.

- 10-12 years of progressive experience in a finance role, with a strong emphasis on corporate accounting and financial reporting.

- Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of at least 5 finance professionals.

- In-depth knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, and relevant tax laws.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

- Proficiency in using accounting software (ERP systems, Tally).

- Advanced Excel skills.
