Skill Set Required :

1) At least 10 years in Rural Banking/MSME/Microfinance

2) High level consultation/influencing and Quality decision making

3) Sound Regulatory knowledge with excellent problem solving capabilities.

Job Description

- Identify, assess and implement new product initiatives through pilots, thus, contributing to Vaya's revenue and diversifies the loan portfolio by enlarging the basket of financial and non-financial products.

- Identifies and evaluates new products and services for diversification. This is achieved by approaching companies/institutions with suitable products and research background information on company, products, prior experience with other MFIs.

- Assesses and pilots shortlisted pilots in order to verify field viability for commercial operations by creating pilot plan and budget, create process document for pilot operations, daily monitoring of pilot activities and field staff, produce periodic reports, evaluate model and suggest changes if necessary. Also supports scale-up of successful pilot projects

- Create scale-up plan by identifying necessary resources, run scale-up in initial stages then handover to scale-up team.

- The Product Head will be involved in all stages of Individual Loan product development and operationalization including market research for IL product development, product development, pilot testing, pilot test reviews, product roll-out for IL products.
