Vaxia is an ecommerce start-up specializing in the delivery of Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) materials and supplies to customers across manufacturing industry, healthcare, institutions, hospitality, oil exploration etc.

The product offering includes Safety Supplies, Fasteners, Flanges, Pipes & Fittings, Pumps, Motors, Hand tools, Bearings, Janitorial supplies and much more.

The stakeholders of Vaxia strongly believe that the present procurement process of MRO items is tedious, time consuming and often not backed by credible technical data. This unenviable job of procuring these - Tail End- MRO items often takes up more than 80% of the purchase personnel's time but the value of these items is usually less than 15% of the total purchase done by companies.

Vaxia will offer a large selection of qualified MRO products available at pre-negotiated prices from top manufacturers in India and abroad. Buyers can conclude the procurement activity in a fraction of the time it would have otherwise taken and all this from the comfort of their office and by following a convenient and transparent procurement process.

Roles and responsibilities :

We are looking for leader to head the operations to plan, direct and manage the performance of departments in the organization. The candidate needs to maintain and develop the business growth in accordance with the organizations agreed goals.

The candidate is responsible to provide effectiveness through leadership, streamlined processes, knowledge and creating the best environment for the people across each department to deliver the required and identified metrics.

Preferred Skills :

- Proven track record of heading / leading an operational role

- Experience of setting up and managing an entire operations framework

- Experience and ability to lead a team across the country

- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

- Experience of having setting processes and systems for procurement function

- Ability to work with key stake holders / departments of the organization

- Ability to manage and deliver key metrics from procurement perspective

- Ability to train, motivate, coach, mentor and continuously maintain team work

- Perform Quarterly / Annual performance appraisals for the team members

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- Lead the entire operational initiatives in the organization from planning, developing and execution of the decided strategies

- Identify performance metrics across the organization and set-up KRA / KPI's for each department and individuals to drive the organization in meeting the agreed goals

- Prepare, Development and Execute Organization wide monthly / quarterly and annual plan

- Maximize the use of available budgets by identifying the best practices and leveraging the spend within and outside the organization

- Implement Processes and Methodologies by adopting effective IT initiatives that can demonstrate cost savings to client as well as the organization

- Ensure all areas of compliance and regulations as needed are met on time

- Provide continuous MIS reports to key management executives on the status of each department's goals, budgets and managing escalations

- Monitor and handle large client accounts to demonstrate organizations commitment and initiatives in providing a value added benefit of cost savings and simplification of client satisfaction

- Work with sales / business development team to increase the growth, sales and revenue realization

- Manage the risks across the organization and implement effective control's for governance

- Responsible for handling any escalation and provide root cause analysis to the management

- Perform Quarterly / Annual performance appraisals for the team members.

- Establish, manage & control the procurement / supply function through ERP / CRM

- Work to develop the second level leadership roles and functions in the team

- Participate and Deliver timely response to the sales / presales / business development function

- Provide Dashboard View of Procurement department to the management on a periodic basis

- Work with the CEO / Board of Directors to meet the review and build new strategies for growth

Qualification, Education & Experience Requirements :

- BE / MBA from premier institution like IIM, XIMB, ISB, etc
