Valuation Control Role - Foreign Exchange Product - Banking (6-8 yrs)
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Team member in IT / Quant team for Valuation Control.
- The team is responsible for building IT infrastructure for Automation and Model Related Calculation in Valuation Control.
- Design and implement solutions to optimize various Valuation Control Process (IPV/Reserve/Model/MIS) related to calculation and Reporting.
- Design and implement solutions to gather and aggregate data from multiple sources into a orderly data store.
- Undertake continuous improvement of the current systems and Infrastructure.
- Improve the efficiency of the calculation processes and reduce code maintenance overheads.
- Work with the individual VC asset groups to understand their requirements.
- Document the related IT policies and procedures.
- Proven track record of using Rapid Application Development (RAD) programming techniques to design, develop and implement end-to-end tactical solutions for finance.
- Develop an automated front-to-bank solution with a related GUI which can be used by Valuation Control for reporting.
- Providing assistance and technical support to the various Valuation Control reporting teams.
- Experience in end to end automation of labour-intensive manual processes to drive efficiencies, improve controls and generate FTE savings. -
- Advance knowledge in programming languages like Python, C++ is essential.
